Specialty Clinic
Our newly expanded Specialty Clinic includes the addition of 12 patient exam rooms, recently constructed inside a wing of the hospital previously used for offices and storage space. This area has been set up to allow visiting medical specialists to come to Rexburg and treat their patients right here, inside the hospital. It’s extremely convenient for our patients, significantly reducing their travel time and enabling them to receive world-class care right here at home.

Cardiologists from the Idaho Heart Institute regularly receive patients at our Specialty Clinic. Dr. Shiven Patel, MD, a highly trained oncologist from the Huntsman Cancer Institute, flies from Salt Lake City to Rexburg several times a month to meet with his patients here. And Dr. Nasimul Ghani, MD, a nephrologist from the University of Utah, also regularly sees patients here. Also, the Madison Memorial Sleep Center, with its on-location sleep lab and accompanying sleep clinic, operates under the direction of Jenny Willmore, PA, and Dr. Jennifer Hale, DO. In addition to all of this, other specialists are now in discussions with us to make plans for their use of the remaining space.

Madison Cancer Care Center offers world class care with a Huntsman Cancer Institute doctor that flies in weekly. Shiven Patel MD brings with him resources and connections to help individuals with all types of cancer. He also recommends when it is time to visit Salt Lake’s world-class on-site Huntsman for additional specialized treatment. Patel has been involved in both laboratory and clinical research. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology.
